Meredith Hewn is a Christian novelist and multidisciplinary artist whose creative life is shaped by contrast—quiet wilderness and jazz-club vibrancy, raw honesty and gentle humor, solitude and soulful expression. As a follower of Christ, she writes from a place of deep faith: stories that explore the beauty God weaves through brokenness, the quiet work of grace in struggle, and the resilient human spirit made in His image.

Living with dyslexia, she learned early that stories don’t need to follow traditional paths to be powerful. Her writing reflects that truth: organic, intuitive, deeply felt, and carved from real human experience—always with an undercurrent of hope and redemption that points to the One who redeems all things.

When she isn’t writing, Meredith works in a range of artistic mediums, from paint to mixed media, blending color, rhythm, and texture to echo the emotional and spiritual depth of her narratives.

A devoted jazz lover, she draws inspiration from the improvisation, syncopation, and unexpected melody lines of the genre—elements that often influence the cadence of her prose.
